About Our Gaushala
With an intention of Gau Seva and Gau Sanvardhan, Shri Gordhanlalji Agrawal and Shri O.P. Rathi started the Gaushala at Sundarpura Village near Vadodara.
It was inaugurated on 3rd September, 1999 with 5 cows. Leading nature activist of Vadodara, Late Ms. Snehal Bhatt, helped in procurement of these cows.
Later, other Gau Bhakts like Shri Banwarilalji Kyamsaria, Shri H.P. Gupta, Shri Tansukhrai Gaur and many others started joining in for this noble cause.
Current Scenario Of Our Gaushala
Total 270 Gaumata resides in Shri Sai Shyam Gowshala across five different enclosed and protected areas. Male Calves, Females Calves, Milking cows, Dry cows, and pregnant cows are kept in separate areas which are enclosed and well protected.
Mother cow is the abode of all the deities.
The man who serves the supreme cow, attains all the worldly and otherworldly pleasures. Cow-service brings merit to all pilgrimages. All worries go away just by meditating on mother cow with devotion.
Method of serving cow: By putting as much money as you can in bread, chhanbura, jaggery and donation box for mother cow, fulfills all the purposes with the virtue of cow service. On the auspicious occasion of the birthday of your children, go to the Gaushala along with your family and get the cow served in the hands of the child as per your capacity. Cow service is the only way to remove all diseases, worries and fulfills all wishes.
